PDF Power Tool is a free program that will enable you to digitally sign PDF files from a command line. All you need to get started is a certificate and a PDF file. You can make the signature visible in the document with the /DISPLAYSIGNATURE command line switch.
You can use this program to create and save an SHA1 signature for any files.
